Baltimore County Public Schools supports home schooling in accordance with the Code of Maryland Regulations (COMAR) 13A.10.01. The mission of the Home Schooling Office is to promote quality education for K-12 Home Schooled students.  Parent information meetings are held during the year to review Home Schooling regulations and portfolio review procedures.
Parents/Legal Guardians considering home schooling for their student(s) should contact Donna Sochurek, Specialist, at 410-887-2896 or dsochurek@bcps.org to request the home schooling packet.

Parents/Legal Guardians who have decided to home school will submit the completed Home Schooling Notification form to:

Please note:  Upon receipt of the Home Schooling Notification form, there is a fifteen (15) day waiting period prior to the start of the Home School Program (COMAR 13.10.01.B.1.b).
