The Office of Alternative Education, Dropout Prevention, and Summer School, in the Department of Student Support Services under the direction of Dale R. Rauenzahn, executive director, and Patsy Holmes, director, offers a variety of high quality academic and behavioral instructional programs and services for students and their families. The many student-centered, family-driven, community-based, and culturally sensitive programs are offered in accordance with the BCPS’ Blueprint for Progress and the Master Plan.
