The Office of Accounting is part of the Department of Fiscal Services. In accordance with the Baltimore County Public Schools Blueprint for Progress, the office provides for the efficient use of resources and the delivery of business services by providing timely access to functional information for all system-wide accounting functions, including:

• General accounting
• Accounts payable (vendors payments, 1099’s)
• Maintaining the Advantage Financial accounting system
• Capital project accounting
• Banking and investments
