BCPS to host countywide Black Saga finals

Competition challenges students to know African-American history and culture

What: Baltimore County Public Schools will host the countywide finals of Black Saga. Teams from Chapel Hill, Mars Estates, Padonia International, Stoneleigh, Villa Cresta, West Towson, and Westchester elementary schools, and Catonsville, Deer Park, Middle River, and Sudbrook Magnet middle schools are expected to participate. The keynote speaker will be Dr. Penelope Martin-Knox, community superintendent for Zone 4.

When: Saturday, March 10, from 9 – 11 a.m.
