Don’t miss a unique opportunity to learn about suicide prevention

Documentary screening aimed at addressing teens and families

What: Baltimore County Public Schools Parent University and Baltimore County Student Councils are hosting a unique opportunity to bring awareness to suicide among young people. Attendance is crucial, and the minimum number of reservations has almost been met. (As of this writing, only five more tickets must be sold to meet the minimum.) Don‘t miss seeing “Suicide. The Ripple Effect," which is a feature-length documentary that tells the story of Kevin Hines, who at 19 attempted to take his own life by jumping off the Golden Gate Bridge. Hines developed the movie as a way to focus attention on the devastating effects of suicide and ways to prevent suicide.

When: Tuesday, March 20, at 7:30 p.m.
Tickets are $13.20 and should be reserved online by 3 p.m. on Sunday, March 11
