Background:
Offered annually to rising seniors by the school system’s Office of School Counseling, the boot camp provides students with an opportunity to jump-start the college application process. This year’s boot camp will be the second for the school system. Last year, more than 300 students and approximately 170 of their parents attended the boot camp to learn about the Common Application, essay preparation, NCAA eligibility, selective admissions, applications to military academies, state scholarships and other financial aid.
