Last week of summer school classes begins Baltimore County Public Schools summer schools classes finish up for most programs through Friday, August 3. Last year, thousands of students participated in summer school courses and programs, including those that cater to a variety of students who are looking for enhanced educational opportunities and academic advancement. This year, at 10 summer school centers across Baltimore County, students will take courses from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon for elementary and middle school students, and from 7:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. for high school students. Parents encouraged to register children now Parents or guardians who must register children for the 2012-13 school year should do so as soon as possible. Early registration is requested so that families have time to provide proper documentation. Early registration also allows schools time to plan for each child and adjust staffing.
