His tenure is among the longest in the modern-day history of the school system. Under his leadership, Baltimore County Public Schools has achieved stellar success in test scores, academic achievement, graduation rates and system-wide recognition. His illustrious career in education spans 43 years. Colleagues, elected officials, business and community leaders, and friends will gather Friday at his Retirement Celebration to honor him for his outstanding leadership as a renowned educator and superintendent of Baltimore County Public Schools.
