Input sought on staffing plan through five special education community forums

What: Five community forums have been scheduled to give parents and the public an opportunity to provide feedback regarding the approved Baltimore County Public Schools Special Education Staffing Plan for 2010-2011. The feedback will be used to prepare the final staffing plan to be submitted to the Board of Education of Baltimore County for approval. The meetings also give parents a forum to share viewpoints on other special education topics. Those who cannot attend a forum may respond by sending an e-mail to staffingplan@bcps.org or by mailing written comments to the BCPS Office of Special Education, 6901 Charles Street in Towson. When: All meetings will take place from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, September 21, 2009.

Where: The meetings will be held at the following schools:

  • Church Lane Elementary, 3820 Fernside Road, Randallstown
  • Charlesmont Elementary, 7800 W. Collingham Drive, Dundalk
  • Dogwood Elementary, 7215 Dogwood Road, Woodlawn
  • Vincent Farm Elementary - 6019 Ebenezer Road, White Marsh
  • Padonia International Elementary, 9834 Greenside Drive, Cockeysville
