16 BCPS students named 2019 Carson Scholars, 29 previously named scholars recognized for excellence

Students to be honored at May 5 banquet

TOWSON, MD. – Sixteen Baltimore County Public Schools students have been named 2019 Carson Scholars by the Carson Scholars Fund. In addition, 29 BCPS students previously named Carson Scholars are being honored for their excellence.

Carson Scholars are students in Grades 4-11 who display outstanding academic achievement (at least a 3.75 GPA) and humanitarian qualities. New scholars receive a $1,000 college scholarship

The 2019 Carson Scholars and Recognized Scholars will be honored at the Maryland Awards Banquet on Sunday, May 5, at 2 p.m. The event will be held at Martin’s West.
