Who would you take with you for a day at Ravens stadium? Your siblings, of course!

Pot Spring Elementary School students – the "Littles" – and their mentors – the "Bigs" – boarded buses headed to M&T Bank Stadium to represent Big Brothers Big Sisters at an awards ceremony on Wednesday, May 21. Upon arrival, the students laced up their sneakers for a dash through the stadium tunnel to the field, where Poe, the Ravens' mascot, greeted them. Littles and Bigs alike gathered around Poe for high-fives and hugs and posed for photographs with the Baltimorean bird.

After a ceremony to thank Pot Spring Elementary's corporate partners for sponsoring the school's Big Brothers Big Sisters program, the mentees and their mentors enjoyed lunch inside the stadium. When they had their fill of the lunchtime treats, the Littles and Bigs returned to the buses for a ride back to school.

The trip to Ravens stadium was part of Pot Spring Elementary's end-of-the-year celebration for its Big Brothers Big Sisters program. Through the program, students are matched with volunteers who provide them with academic, emotional and social support over the course of a school year. The support that the students receive prepares them to overcome challenges and achieve success in middle school.

Pot Spring Elementary sends a big "thank-you" to its Bigs and corporate sponsors for another great school year!
