Deer Park Elementary students participate in The Million Misfit Sock March

Deer Park Elementary students participated in The Million Misfit Sock March as a start to National "Make a Difference" Weekend. Students wore misfit socks to celebrate their individual differences and to stand up against bullying. At the end of the day, they made a human peace sign on the lawn of the school and posed for a photo, all in an effort to remind students that it's important to build a school community in which everyone accepts each other for who they are.
