Spotlights

Walt Disney’s not the only one who can write a fairytale!

At Owings Mills Elementary School, 40 Grade 4 students collaborated with the Hippodrome Foundation to write an original fairytale entitled “Princess Jelliana and the Peanut Butter Dragon.” The Foundation published the fairytale and provided each student-author with a hardcover copy.

Before composing the fairytale, the students learned about the history of fairytales and viewed a performance of “Beauty and the Beast” at the Hippodrome Theater.

Great work, Owings Mills Elementary!
