Seneca Elementary School recently celebrated its 11th annual Seneca Showcase. This year, more than 800 students, parents, friends and family members attended.

The focus this year was to showcase how Seneca is moving forward with 21st century learning for all of students. Friends and family in attendance got to see work highlighting collaboration, critical thinking, innovation, communication, problem solving and creativity. Some projects included argumentative and informational writing, computer-based projects, comic strips, research reports, problem solving in mathematics and newspapers.
Visitors were also able to see STEM projects by Grade 4 and Grade 5 students. Grade 2 students ended the evening with a performance of "How Does Your Garden Grow?"
