Pine Grove Middle brings spring art to downtown Towson

Sixteen windows of the former Paolo’s Restaurant at 1 West Pennsylvania Avenue in downtown Towson are now filled with spring-inspired artwork thanks to efforts of Pine Grove Middle School students.

In a project sponsored by the Baltimore County Public Schools Office of Visual Arts and the Towson Chamber of Commerce, the Pine Grove Middle students worked with art teacher Vernon Fains to create artwork to fill the windows and beautify the Towson business and shopping district.

The student artists are:

  • Mary Mattes
  • Zachary Swain
  • Denzel Clarke
  • Justin Geelhaar
  • Bradley Davis
  • Harley Davis
  • Cheyanne Blum
  • Joseph Vu
  • Mike Rigby
  • Tochi Okpulor
  • Cory Koller

Special assistance was provided by students Olivia McNulty, Chibuzor Martins and Grace Bahl.
