Hanukkah lessons were tasty for students in the preschool and prekindergarten Communication and Learning Support Class at Baltimore Highlands Elementary School.

The students prepared traditional potato pancakes, or latkes, as they learned about the Jewish holiday of Hanukkah.  The act of making latkes became an opportunity for students to practice hygiene, social, cooking, and conversational skills.
