Orems staff model their sailor's caps.

Principal Marcia Wolf of Orems Elementary invited her staff to Sail Away on BCPS Orems and make plans to take students on a learning odyssey this school year.

To kick off the year, everyone was invited to create a sailor's cap to express their hopes, dreams, and goals for the year. Teachers and staff members came up with adventurous ideas to illustrate the epic journey they are about to embark upon.

Grade 2 teacher Karen Nichols plans to "light the way for her students." (She won the contest for best theme.)
