At the 2012 Baltimore County Public Schools' Summer Visual Arts Enrichment Camp, 110 campers, Grades 3–12, used a wide range of materials – from pencils to computers – to fulfill their artistic visions and build their portfolios.

Held at Perry Hall High School, July 9–20, 2012, the camp was co-directed by Eileen Fitzgerald and Lori Beth Fawkes. Teachers included Sam Georgieff, Joe Cypressi, Amber Carky, Sam Tillman, Mike Bare, Joanne Bare, and Terry Shovlin. Participating students spent mornings working in studios. After lunch and recreation each day, students spent their afternoons engaged in critiques, discussions, and additional studio time.
