Loch Raven Academy welcomed students, perspective students, and their parents to enjoy an evening of performances, exhibits, curriculum topics and presentations at the school. During the 2012 Spring Showcase Night, the school showcased its diverse academic programs and talented students. Everyone who attended had the opportunity to explore technology at work in the classrooms, visit the TV Studio, examine science projects and science mini labs, play student created math games, listen to student poetry and oral history presentations, experience the joy of learning Spanish and dancing the salsa, take a journey through the art gallery, watch the art fashion show, and gather resources for college and career awareness.
The event was immediately followed by an ice cream social provided by the PTSA. Throughout the event, parents and students visited the BCPS Parentmobile, a traveling resource that provides access information about education to parents and community members.
