Bear Creek Elementary School’s Positive Behavior Intervention System (PBIS) committee held its first Recycling Sculpture Contest in honor of Earth Day. Students paid $1.00 to enter sculptures made from recycling materials. Second grade student, Brandon Puckett took first prize for his flower sculpture made of plastic bottles and cardboard paper rolls. Winners earned PBIS Bear Paw tokens to spend at the Bear Paw store.
