Students and faculty celebrated all of the accomplishments of becoming a Green School as Earth Day was observed with a schoolwide assembly at Summit Park Elementary School.   Collaborative efforts between students, faculty and community members have included creating a school garden, recycling in the classroom and at lunch, and reusing materials such as plastic bottles for art projects.  Students enjoyed watching a slide show about the environment and performing a song featured in the film, The Lorax.
