The students, teachers, and staff at Charlesmont Elementary School recently wrote letters and cards and put together care packages from donated items including money to be used for phone cards, to send to the U.S. troops in Afghanistan.  The response from the troops was amazing!  An Army Colonel serving as the Deputy Cryptologic Representative in Afghanistan has offered to write a letter of thanks and appreciation including, a special coin for Charlesmont Elementary to display.  Charlesmont Elementary School will display these items with honor.
