Grade 2 students at Featherbed Lane Elementary researched a famous African American and shared what they had learned with their classmates. This information was then put into a short speech for a “Who Am I?” classroom presentation.

Parents were invited. The students did an outstanding job with their first public speaking. The students as well as parents became well informed of the tremendous influence on our lives from the efforts of many African Americans.
