In honor of National Education Association’s, Read Across America Day, students at Deep Creek Magnet Middle School hosted a book exchange.  They brought in gently used books to trade for new items to take home.  The exchange was hosted by Alexis Mazur, school library media specialist, in front of the cafeteria during all lunch periods.  All students were invited to stop by and take a look at the items for trade.  The book exchange party was a great way to get students together and get excited about books.  The books exchange was such a success, Deep Creek MS will host another swap next month.
