Students in Grade 8 at Deep Creek Middle School participated in a Web conference with the Walters Art Museum.  During this interactive session, “Telling Stories through Art,” students journeyed through time and explored how art can tell a story and reveal history.

Students used paintings and sculptures from The Walters’ collection to both develop a narrative and focus on the literary elements of creating a story, and used their imaginations as they virtually visited The Walters’ Art Museum to create their own narrative works of art.
