For the second year in a row, students from Westowne Elementary School provided decorations for the Christmas tree in the heart of Catonsville on Frederick Road. The tree is located in front of the Santa House next to the Catonsville Fire Station.

A variety of decorations adorn the tree. Some classes created birdseed-covered pinecones, while others used markers, glitter, sequins, and other supplies to decorate foam shapes, including snowmen, ornaments, purple shirts, footballs, and Baltimore Ravens heads.

Donations from the Catonsville Ravens Club and the Westowne PTA covered the cost of the supplies and decorations. All of the decorations were made by Westowne students in mid-November.
