Thanks to a charity called Music 4 More, over a dozen musical instruments were donated to Old Court Middle School.  The charity’s mission is to provide instruments to music programs in need through a campaign called Pass The Music On.  As part of the campaign, OCMS band students experienced a mini-rock concert by a local band, Clear For Takeoff.  After the concert, the band members met with the students and discussed the importance of music education. They emphasized to the students that all members of the band had a bachelor’s and/or master’s degree.

The instruments will be used in the OCMS Lion’s Pride Marching Band and the OCMS Jazz Band led by Timothy Doscher and Anthony Flowers.
