On Friday, October 14, 2011, the students and faculty of Riderwood Elementary School honored the five teachers and one administrator who have, with dedication and love, devoted at least 25 years of their careers in education to Riderwood. Six trees were planted on school grounds to commemorate this special educational milestone. The honorees included: Ms. Jackie Vadala, Ms. Mary Stude, Mr. Michael Allman, Mrs. Patricia Murphy (assistant principal), Ms. Karen Sisler, and Mrs. Maxine Geschwilm.
