The Perry Hall Middle School Quiz Bowl team traveled to Pikesville Middle School for the Quiz Bowl County Championship Match against Pikesville Middle's team on Tuesday, May 2. 

After being down by 100 points late in the contest, Perry Hall came back to win, 335-310, in a match that came down to the last second. The team avenged its only loss of the season by defeating Pikesville Middle and finished with a record of 5-1. 

This is the second year in a row that the Perry Hall Middle Quiz Bowl team has won the County Championship. Dan Morrison, the team's captain, as well as Mohammed Hasan and Joe Yap "did especially great jobs in this match," according to Mr. Hoover, the team's coach.
