Golden Ring Middle students finish murals for downtown Towson

The Golden Ring Mural Club, based at Golden Ring Middle School, completed two murals that are now displayed in empty storefront windows in downtown Towson. Many other Baltimore County schools were also involved in the project, transforming these Towson windows into works of art. The theme for the project is "The Celebration of the Coming of Spring."

Other schools involved include Chesapeake High, Cockeysville Middle, Deep Creek Elementary, Deer Park Magnet Middle, Dulaney High, Gunpowder Elementary, Loch Raven Academy, Maiden Choice Elementary, Middlesex Elementary, Norwood Elementary, Old Court Middle, Parkville High, Pine Grove Middle, Ridgely Middle, Stoneleigh Elementary, Westchester Elementary, and Woodholme Elementary.

Thanks to the Towson Chamber of Commerce for providing this opportunity for the students of Baltimore County Public Schools.

The Golden Ring Mural Club members are Lux Punksungka, Gloria Emelike, Albertin Weah, Chandni Pandya, and Ezihe Chikwere. The mural club has also done art projects throughout the year that have contributed to the beautification of Golden Ring Middle School.
