Crossroads Center students completed their second experiential learning trip of the school year on November 29, 2010.

The students spent the day outside at the Days Cove Environmental Center in Gunpowder State Park rotating through six different station activities centered on teambuilding. The teambuilding activities included Spider Web where students had to develop a strategy to pass participants through a variety of openings at various heights and sizes.

At the Blindfolded Rope Walk station, students were placed in a straight line, blindfolded and then had to place their right hands on the shoulders of the students in front of them. A teacher then led the group through a wooded course.

All of the day’s activities engaged students in problem solving, communication, trust and teamwork.
