When it opens to students on Monday, August
25, 2003, New Town High School in Owings Mills
will become the first new Baltimore County high
school in a quarter century. Its state of the
art design and features have received the finishing
touches and stand ready to accommodate students
from the New Town community who last year attended
either Owings Mills High School or Randallstown
High School.
With former Owings Mills High Principal Dr. Margaret Spicer at the helm, the school sports a dramatic look as well as the latest in high school amenities such as video production, food courts in the cafeteria, a black box theater, modern Media Center and information retrieval system, and other features. Built at a cost of $35 million, New Town High School will welcome students and community in high style and utility.
