Aspiring Principals and Assistant Principals

The Baltimore County Public School System builds and sustains a pipeline of school-based administrators by evaluating a prospective school-based leader’s skills in four specifically designed tasks performed at a regularly scheduled Assessment Skills Center.  The postings for Principal and Assistant Principal are currently on the website and can be found through the following link: https://a1-3.applitrack.com/bcps/onlineapp/default.aspx?Category=LEAD+-+SCHOOL-BASED+LEADER.  In order to participate in either of the principal or assistant principal Assessment Skills Centers, all application materials must be fully submitted by application due date.

2016-2017 Dates for Aspiring Principals

 

The “Principal (Elementary, Middle, and High School) – To Create a Candidate Pool” will be posted through Friday, April 14, 2017. Those individuals who are interested and who meet the minimum qualifications may choose to participate on one of the four following dates but must apply by the corresponding application due date. If an aspiring principal candidate meets the minimum qualifications, he/she may only apply and participate once per semester.
