REDISTRICTING PROCESS

Hereford High School is currently undergoing a renovation that will modernize the school and increase its capacity to address overcrowding. In anticipation of the project's completion in 2015, the superintendent convened a boundary study committee in September 2013, to explore the feasibility of making the Hereford Middle School attendance zone a 100% feeder to Hereford High School. A committee composed of school representatives, parents, and community members examined data and options and, as the result of a favorable Board of Education voted on March 11, 2014, about 25 residences in the Quaker Bottom Road community will be rezoned from Dulaney High School to Hereford High School starting with the 2014-15 school year. The committee's work and all related information about the boundary process can be found below.
