Pleasant Plains Elementary Capacity Relief Boundary Study

Purpose:

The purpose of this boundary study will be to provide capacity relief at Pleasant Plains Elementary School.

The new boundary will be effective July 2020.

Boundary Study Committee

The boundary study committee will be identified this summer and will convene in September 2019. Between September and December 2019, the group will meet seven times, including hosting a public information meeting in October to share the group’s work, talk with community members, and gather information. In February and March 2020, the Board of Education will consider and take action on the committee’s recommendation, including holding a public hearing.

Study Outcome:

The committee completed its work on Wednesday, December 11, 2019 with a recommendation of Option B.
