me

Hello! My name is Ms. Sauder. I am a third grade teacher at Battle Grove Elementary. I have been at Battle Grove Elementary for 5 years! The saying "Time flies when you're having fun" can't be more true. My years at BGE have gone by so quickly. This is my second year in third grade. I previously taught fifth grade for three years. I graduated from Towson University in 2004 with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. I am currently taking classes at Towson University towards my masters in elementary education. Only 2 more classes to go!

Ms. Sauder
This website has been created to help keep parents stay informed about their students third grade experience at BGE. It's also very useful for students to use in order to practice their skills. I have included the topics that students will learn about throughout the year. I have also included many websites that have fun and useful games for students to practice the skills they are learning in the classroom.
I believe that open communication between parents and teachers helps students reach their highest potential. If you even have a question, concern, or something you'd like to share, please contact me. Email is the easiest way for me to communicate. Below is my email address.

Getting to know my students and the things they like to do is very important to me.
Here's a little bit about me:
I grew up in northern Baltimore County and attended Hereford High School. On the weekends I like to relax, read, and spend time with my friends and family. I enjoy being outdoors hiking and camping. I love to play many sports, especially running and soccer. This past April I got engaged and I'm currently in the stages of planning for my upcoming wedding on June 27th. I had no idea that it would involve so much work! This summer I have kept myself very busy with redoing my basement and training my new beagle puppy, Hunter.
