| | E-mail me | My name is Dr. Rainwater. This is my 21st year in Baltimore County Public Schools. And, it is my 33rd year of teaching. My first 13 years in Baltimore County Public Schools were at Rodgers Forge as a special education teacher. I worked as an IEP Team chair (in an elmentary school and a middle school) during my 5 years away. I returned to Rodgers Forge in the 2004-2005 school year as .5 special education teacher and .5 reading teacher. I am currently the Reading Specialist at Rodgers Forge. I have attended a number of colleges and universities in the south: University of Southern Mississippi, Mississippi College, Jackson State University, Memphis State University, University of Mexico (Mexico City). I recently completed coursework at Towson University for the Reading Specialist's certification. I have taught at a number of colleges in the south. During my 24 years as a Maryland resident I have locally taught as an adjunct faculty member in the following colleges: Johns Hopkins University, Notre Dame, Goucher, Bowie, Western Maryland, Villa Julie.
I am no longer teaching at any local colleges--instead I am now taking time to read, better utilize the technological resources available through BCPS and make time for family and personal interests.
