Ms. Shillman has been a member
of the BCPS Ethics Review Panel and the Baltimore
County Ethics Commission. She has served Baltimore
County on its Arts and Sciences Commission and
chaired its Commission on Aging. She has also
served as a member and vice chair of the Animal
Control Hearing Board. For several years, she
was an instructor in continuing education for
senior citizens for the Baltimore County Community
Colleges, and she has also been on the Audit
Committee of Sinai Hospital and has chaired
the Audit Committee of the Levindale Nursing
Home and Hospital. Ms. Shillman received her
B.A. degree from the University of Maryland
College Park.
Married and the mother of four
children, all of whom attend Baltimore County
Public Schools, and grandmother of two grandchildren
who now attend Baltimore County Public Schools.
