Ms. Harris was appointed to the Board of Education
for a five-year term in August 2004. She is
employed as a legislative assistant for Baltimore
County state Delegates Pat McDonough and Wade
Kach, and has earned a bachelor of science degree
in Clinical Psychology and Sociology from Towson
University. Ms. Harris is involved in a variety
of community organizations, including the Timonium
Optimist Club (where she has been named Optimist
of the Year) and as a volunteer at the Cockeysville
precinct of the Baltimore County Police Department.
She has served as Chair of the Board of the
Ritchey Youth Service Center, and her interests
include reading and campaigning.
