Donna Flynn

In 2008, Donna Flynn joined The College Board
as an executive director in the Division of
College Readiness. Prior to that she
worked for Towson University as the Coordinator
of Assessment and Accreditation for the College
of Education, but the majority of her career – 32
years – was spent with Baltimore County
Public Schools. Beginning as an English teacher
at Holabird Junior High School in Dundalk,
Ms. Flynn advanced into a range of administrative
positions including principal, area superintendent,
and Executive Director of Assessment and Student
Data. She was appointed to the Baltimore
County Planning Board where she served for
two years before joining the Board of Education.
A longtime Catonsville resident, she is married
and the mother of two, a son and a daughter
who both graduated from Catonsville High School.
