Special Recognition

At its Dec. 2, 2003, meeting, the Baltimore County Board of Education honored Geraldine "Geri" Hastings, a social studies teacher and department chair at Catonsville High School. Ms. Hastings was recently named by the National Council for the Social Studies as one of the two best high school social studies educators in the nation. The Board, led by Board President James Sasiadek and Vice President Janese Murray, honored Ms. Hastings with a proclamation and applause.
