Division of Business Services and Office of Budget
James Sasiadek, Board President; Barbara Burnopp, Executive Director for Fiscal Services; and Robert Haines, Deputy Superintendent for Business Services.

The Board of Education of Baltimore County at its meeting of November 23, 2004, presented a citation to the school system’s Division of Business Services and Office of Budget and Reporting for winning a prestigious national award in honor of the way the school system presents to the public information about its $1 billion annual budget.

The Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) recently presented its Distinguished Budget Presentation Award to Baltimore County Public Schools to observe the achievement. Board President James Sasiadek congratulated Barbara S. Burnopp, Executive Director of the Division of Fiscal Services, and Robert Haines, Deputy Superintendent for Business Services, as well as Michael J. Goodhues, Director of the Office of Budget and Reporting.
