At
the August 14 meeting of the Baltimore County
Board of Education, the Board presented Board
member Carolyn Ross-Holmes with a bouquet and
plaque honoring her years of service to the
Board and to the children of Baltimore County.
Ms. Ross-Holmes resigned from the Board in August
as her family prepared to move to North Carolina.
She thanked fellow Board members, Superintendent Dr. Joe A. Hairston, educators, citizens, and friends for their support, and related a touching family story about the importance of education.
Pictured with Ms. Ross-Holmes is Board President Don Arnold, who presented her with the plaque.
