Special Recognition

Randall Grimsley, Executive Director of Human Resources, retired in June 2004 after more than 41 years of service with the Baltimore County Public Schools. Honored by the Board of Education at its June 8th meeting, Mr. Grimsley was recognized for his service to the school system and children of Baltimore County, including as a classroom teacher, principal, manager of pupil assignments, and director of staff relations. Standing with Mr. Grimsley (center) at the June 8th Board meeting are Board Vice President Janese Murray and Board President James Sasiadek.

The Nurses Association of Baltimore County honored the Baltimore County Board of Education for its support with this quilt and a plaque during the June 8th meeting of the Board. Accepting the honor on behalf of the Board is Board President James Sasiadek (right). The honor also noted the Board’s recognition of May 12, 2004, as School Nurses Day in Baltimore County.
