Special Recognition

At its meeting of March 25, the Baltimore County Board of Education passed a resolution designating March 2003 as National Social Worker Month in Baltimore County's public schools.

Standing with Board President Don Arnold and BCPS Superintendent Joe Hairston to accept the honor are (left to right): Mr. Arnold; Tambra Chisholm of Halstead Academy; Robert Bentzley of Holabird and General John Stricker middle schools; Victoria Cofield-Aber, Specialist of School Social Work Services; Vivian Ferguson, Coordinator of Pupil Personnel; Patricia Mustipher of Deer Park Middle and Campfield Early Learning Center; A Teacher from Woodmoor Elementary School and Powhatan Elementary School; Ilene Caplan of Hebbville Elementary School; Dr. Hairston; and Mayaugust Finkenberg of Woodlawn Middle School.
