
In recognition for its annual sponsoring of the "24 Challenge Tournament," the Board of Education awarded a plaque honoring the contributions of Allfirst Bank during the Board's March 12th meeting. Accepting the award from Board President Don Arnold (left) and BCPS Superintendent Dr. Joe A. Hairston (right) is Mr. Mark Furst (center), President of the Greater Baltimore Allfirst Bank. In addition to sponsoring the event, Allfirst Bank also has provided Savings Bonds to winning students. Ms. Penny Booth, Coordinator of Secondary Mathematics Programs, was also recognized during the ceremony.
