The Curriculum-Based Technology Integration Activities database has been
developed to provide teachers with "Best Practices" in technology integration
to support teaching and learning. The design process and model activities were
developed during the 2005 Summer Workshop of the Office of Instructional
Technology in the Baltimore County Public Schools and partially funded by the Technology
Literacy by 8th Grade Consortium using Title II-D funds provided by the
United States Department of Education through the Enhancing Education Through
Technology program. Additional funds were provided by the Baltimore
County Public Schools and work was done collaboratively between the Office of
Instructional Technology and the Department of Technology. These technology
integrated activities support the tested areas of the BCPS curriculum and are
matched to the Voluntary State Curriculum as well as the
Maryland Technology Literacy Standards for Students. For each
activity, the learning preferences
and the field preference are noted, and the Level
of Cognitive Demand is identified.
To begin using the database, enter at least a subject or grade level, and then
click "Search". Entering additional criteria will further narrow results. For
more information, read about this system.
